Hey Family,So it was good to talk to yall on saturday and i am glad to hear that everybody is doing well.. it sounds like there was a party though in Texas so i am hoping in 2012 we can have another one of those parties so i dont have a whole lot to say today.. umm the most exciting thing is that saturday we were headed home after visiting some members and we found luis in the street headed home and we talked to him for a second and then when were were leaving he kept saying uno.. and was like one what.. and he said he had made up his mind and that he does want to get baptized this next saturday.. and then yesterday again he said that he wanted to.. its awesome cause i have been here and taught him and ton of stuff and he is a cool good kid..he also has kept the commitments we always leave with him and isnt into any of the crap that kids are doing these days like drugs drinking or stuff like that.. 
i am gonna see if my comp can baptize him though cause thats what my dad or trainer did for me and i think itd be really cool for him to be able to do it.. please though pray for him that he can continue to grow in his testimony and that his family will follow him.. he was really prepared from the start but its been really neat to see him accept everthing and just take it in so quick.. well not that quick cause we have been teaching him for two months now but anyway its really cool and i am excited for this next saturday..
but yeah yall know i am training now and so that is going good and its fun and helping me getting better with spanish too cause i am pretty much the only one that talks.. also yesterday i led the hymns in sacrament meeting and i had to sing a little bit to give the tone or melody of the hymn.. it was kind of embarassing but i did it.. "theres no different between singing and talking you just move your voice up and down.. I AM IN A STORE AND I AM SINGING!!!" and yes i missed elf this year and also i am missing basketball pretty bad too.. and yall of course but not too bad.. haha umm so thats about it... i am just gonna send some pics though!! love yall and pray for me and my comp but mostly for Luis and the other investigators we have.. i am praying for yall too and as we approach the new year lets all find little things that we can improve on.. we all have something to get better at.. lets make an extra effort this year to follow the example of Jesus Christ! i know He was born here and died but will come again.. we need to remember Him always and the sacrifice He did for us.. Also we need to prepare ourselves for the second coming.. we dont know when it is but its getting close.. make sure to pray daily and read the scriptures.. if we do those things and go to church we will be on the path to eternal life!! i love yall and i am happy to be a member of this church cause this is the only way we can be an eternal family!! do your part and be strong.. love yall and happy new year!! enjoy the pics.. one is with a byuer.. :P me and my comp..
