Hey family!!!Hope everybody is doing well and getting ready for Christmas this saturday.. i was gonna send pics to yall this week cause last week it didnt work but.. i let some members borrow my camera, but dont worry they are not gonna still it like that guy did in colombia.. anyway we had a christmas activity in the mission a few weeks ago with all of the missionaries in the capital.. it was pretty cool and we got chicken cordon bleu or however you spell it.. also we sang christmas songs and the president and his wife gave some little gifts.. it was cool and i have some pics but maybe i will do that next week when there is nothing else to talk about in my email really.. so about talking i will call you.. mom sometime this week and let you know when and what my number is then you can pass it to the family and we will do it like we did for mothers day.. also today we had changes again and i dont have a comp.. cause i will get him tomorrow cause i am training!!! there are 7news coming in this change and i get to train one of them!! itll be a lot of fun.. i will go to the temple tomorrow at 7 in the morning then i will have a training thing with the aps.. lunch with the news and then president will give us our comps and we will go work!! itll be really cool.. and yeah i hope i get a white guy cause i know whats its like being new in the mission and with the new culture and language... but we will see tomorrow and yall will find out on saturday.. anyway i also have some bad news.. elder meza went come cause of his bad leg.. thats really sad cause he really wanted to be here but his health just wouldnt let him.. also i was wondering if chelsey or kylee know a scott richins.. he is new in the mission and went to logan high.. supposedly he is friends with the brother of one of chleseys good friends and he graduated in 09.. i talked to him today and sat by him in changes.. umm also last week was freezing cold.. one night i slept in pajamas shorts socks a long sleeve shirt and a jacket.. it was terrible and i am gonna die when i go back to texas!!.. but now its warmer again.. i have been sporting my sweater a lot though and bought some gloves.. and our house the other day at 11 inthe morning was 59 degrees.. it was ridiculous and our house is crappy and always cold.. anyway on to other things. luis has been to church 7 times now and is still do really good.. he is gonna get baptized new years day and he wants me to do it.. thatll be really cool and i gave him two ties yesterday so he could come to church next week in a white shirt and tie.. also i gave another investigator kid two ties.. he and his sister are here visiting but have recieved all the lessons.. they just cant get baptized though until the go back home... the other day i tried to make taquitos like i always got from whataburger.. they werent as good.. haha umm.. also the other day we asked a lady who she had faith in and she showed us her virgen mary.. it was decorated with a bunch a crap and told us that since in dangerous she always has faith in her and she is protected.. what apostasy!!! and yeah its crappy.. reciently 4 investigators in total have been lost because there pastor has told them that they shouldnt talk to us.. dang pastores!! also reciently all the dogs have tried to attack us.. i dont think any of yall can imagine how many dumb dogs are here.. they are everywhere in the streets and they always try to attack us now for some reason.. if you act like you are gonna through a rock at them though they leave you alone though but one of these days i think i am gonna get bite.. also last monday we went bowling and ate at chilis cause we had special permission.. it was fun and it felt like i was in the states for a couple hours.. but i am not and i am in guatemala.. haha but thats ok i am adjusted here now and nothing really surprizes me anymore.. last week we had some rough days.. all of our appointments fell and we walked a ton.. we made in through though and in all had a good week with still over 20 lessons.. also i always have been trying to serve more reciently and the other day i carried a gas tank for somebody and we tried to take out a tree trunk the other day.. it wouldnt come out.. and i had got a blister that hurt like crazy.. also in the act of swing the axe one time i let go with one hand and hit myself in the ankle.. i only bled a little bit and it was another one of those use your head for something other then carrying hair moments.. also we talked with hermano alonzo last night and we cleared up a lot of his doubts.. if we can just get him to read the book of mormon and know its true we should get him to church and baptize his family.. also we have another family that we are working with and seem to be interested too!! so the work is going good and i am exciting to train.. it will be a good learning experience for me and it will help me grow a lot.. well i love yall a ton and we will talk on saturday!! woohoo take care and feliz navidad!!Love,Elder Hatch
