Dear Family,
It was good to be able to talk to quite a few of yall yesterday.. i am glad to hear that yall are doing good for the most part and getting ready for summer.. the time is flying by so fast and tomorrow i will complete 15 months!! anyway here goes the list.. here is a pic of me and some kids in a village we went to the other day.. their house is in the background too.. i wish yall could see how a lot people live here.. they honestly have nothing.. anyway also last tues we got 3 investigators to pray who didnt want to at the start.. that was good and thats a first step to becoming converted and gaining a testimony.. it was good and me and my comp were happy after doing that but that just shows how far our investigators are away from baptism if they dont even want to pray.. we do have a good investigator though named rogel.. he is about 23 and is really interested in our message and in our lessons.. he reads every pamphlet that we leave him and he is going to read the book of mormon that we left with him.. he wants to change his life and recieve a baptism.. but he isnt married and lost his papers to be able to get married so a baptism is still a ways away but all things are possible still... we also are having fhes with members and investigators or less actives and that is working good and we really are starting to motivate the members and they are starting to be more supportive.. also with the class we gave yesterday now the members have remembered the importance of this work and have materials to give to their neighbors and friends who might be interested.. here is another pic with my cape on that keeps my backpack dry when it rains.. also this sat and this sat in two weeks we are going to do a theater night-afternoon in the church with invitations and free popcorn and we are going to watch the jose smith video and then the testaments about Jesus coming to the americas..also we have a district activity this friday in the center of the town where we are going to contact a lot of people! also we might shine shoes and give out free lemonade to get a better turn out and be able to talk to priesthood holders.. also carlos one of our investigatos is wanting to progress but he is not married either.. we always leave him thinking though and he feels the spirit everytime but like alot of our other investigators they dont want to keep commitments and make changes in their lives even they know that they need to and that God wants them too also! we also found a new fam last week but they dont answer questions or want to particpate a lot in the lessons.. and yes they are qeqchi.. haha its really frustrating sometimes though cause a lot of them just dont understand doctrine at all.. but its helping me become a better teacher caue i have to teach super simple.. its funny though sometimes cause they dont wrap there minds around a lot of the things and you just have to laugh instead of getting angry or frustrated.. thats a super heavy bag of rope that i carried into a house the other day for a less active.. this area though really has helped me learn to love serving others.. this sunset was pretty.. also this week we are going to contact or knock doors like crazy.. the zone leaders want 300 contacts.. it bothers me how much everybody focuses on numbers.. we are teaching people here not numbers.. they are important and help us improve but so many people and especially missionaries just care about the stupid numbers!! check out my tight hoody i got made of corte.. its pretty sick huh? last night three of us in our house had arrigamortis at different times.. and yes i was one of them.. last night we ate a bunch of random little foods to fill us up cause we didnt have alot of food left and we all got sick.. it was funny though and i feel good now.. thanks steph for the package.. i got it and i have been enjoying the candy along with the other elders who live with us.. well i dont have too much more to say and dont have time left.. i dunked a little ball today and can still kind of jump so thats good.. take care and have a good week.. and all the kids who are studying do well on yalls last tests! well take care and i love yall a ton.. i know that this church is true and that this is the work of the Lord!! take care and thanks for all the support yall give me and all the prayers!! i pray for yall too everyday!!
adios y les amo!

Dear Family,
hey how are yall doing? So here are a ton of pics.. one is of me just being dumb. .the others are of the rain and flood that we had last week in carcha.. well it wasnt really a legit flood but some places did flood and get filled up with water.. so here goes my list.. last monday we taugh a couple who isnt married but living together.. we watched together forever.. a church movie about how families can be together forever and how we can have happiness in this life even though we will always have problems.. then we testified about it and asked them ?s.. it was awesome.. i asked them if they felt the spirit and they said si.. or yes.. haha and they liked it a lot.. it was tight and they like many others have felt the spirit but just dont want to make the sacrifice to change their lives and put them in order.. its frustrating but little by little.. so weds we went to drop an elder off who had a transfer to another area.. we then heard the changes though and now there are 6 missionaries in carcha!! its crazy and they are sisters.. we werent told to look for a house or anything so that same day we went home packed up and had to move out of our house.. it was crazy and sad cause now we live with other elders in a house thats not so nice and there is not enough room there. . also we had to redraw the areas again so we lost a couple of investigators and less active members.. also i am the district leader now.. itll be good to help me become a better leader but its also kind of a pain calling for dats every night but itll be good and ill learn how to work better with people and motivate them.. but i am not to excited about having sisters in my district. .they scare and yall know how sister missionaries are.. haha and so yeah we had no clue about the siss opening a new area so we had to organize everything with the moving of stuff and rediving the town.. we had another cool lesson with the familiy who just had a baby.. we taught the guy about how to give priesthood blessings. .itll be really good to go this weds too and give him the sheet on how to give blessing and give him oil to use.. this ward isnt too bad and there are a lot of cool families but then also there are some prideful people who think they know how to do everything and are all talk and but no action! and that bothers me. .like a guy telling us how and what we need to do yesterday.. he doesnt even know! and he thinks he can tell us whats up! anyway hopefully he doesnt do that again or i might just tell him whats up! haha so thurs night it rained a ton and it flooded in some parts.. we put on boots and rain jackets but we still got completely soaked.. it was crazy but a lot of fun. . and water got into our boots too.. friday we had a lesson with victor our baptismal date. .he talked to his boss cause he drives a taxi and somebody owns it and so he couldnt go to church.. that was crappy and a lot of our investigators arent that motivated to go to church.. we had no investigators last sunday.. its so hard but we are working hard and trying to change things up and follow the spirit.. its not fun though be district leader cause all the zone leaders want is numbers and when i gave dats last night all he said was have better dats next week.. anyway all i can say is me vale or i dont care they are just dang numbers.. we are trying and being obedient we will find the people when they are ready and we are trying to change what we are doing to have better results.. the attendance though is going up a lot though and we are planning a lot of activities to get more members involved.. hopefully those work out good and they give us more references cause having support and fellowship are so important!! the pic with the kid was taken after we went up 215 stairs while contacting ... the little kid was funny and wanted to help us.. i gave him a card with the articles of faith then he came back again said he wanted another for his sister and wanted a pic so i took one with him.. then he told me not to erase it and that he wanted us to come back again and visit him.. it was cool.. anyway i dont have to much more too say but i wont be calling yall to tell yall what time we are doing the call.. but i will have member do it cause right now i dont have the number and we have to get the hours organized. .they say only 40 min. but im talking longer.. but yeah itll be pretty close to about an hour that i have to talk to yall though or maybe a little more.. well take care and have a good week.. i love yall and ton and hope yall are healthy and happy and ill talk to yall on sunday!!

Dear Family,
Whats up? so turns out we didnt have changes again.. haha i am with my comp again and still in the same area.. i am not gonna lie i am not too exciting for this change because i kind of wanted to leave carcha and have a new comp but we are together again for a reason so i will try and be positive and yeah.. haha itll be hard because the longest i was with any comp before this was 1 change.. but we are gonna have 4 and a half months together.. i was gonna vent to yall but i decided not too.. just pray for me and him and our investigators.. thanks anyway so i am gonna go down my list and tell yall what happened last week.. so my first pic is of the moon last monday night.. it was suuuupppper red.. it was cool and kind of scary cause thats a sign of the second coming.. but once it rose farther up in the sky it was normal color again.. also last monday night a family gave us atol chuco.. so ill try and explain in to yall.. so they boil corn and then let it sit and ferment/rot for a couple days till it starts foaming.. then they wash it off cook it again and put beans in it and a coloring thats brown/pinkish color.. but it was sour and nasty.. i wish yall could try it.. it was nasty and burning hot too.. it was not a fun experience.. it didnt give me boo though but it made my comp more sick in the stomach.. it was terrible rotted corn with beans in it.. the most sickest drink ever! also until last week it hadnt rained in carcha for quite a while so all the qeqchis were out in the river washing their clothes.. also we did service a lot last week cause not many people were in there houses cause of the holy week.. i cut with a maschetti for 3 hours and i had 5 blisters on my hand it hurt like crazy!!!! so with the holy week we had an ok week.. a lot of people went to visit family members and do other stuff so they werent in there houses.. also i called luis last week and he was happy and i talked to him and carmen.. they both are still going to church and doing good.. i miss them a lot cause that was the coolest family ive found in all my mission.. but i call them everyonce in a while to make sure they are doing good and still going to church.. we had a cool lesson last week with an inactive kid whose 13.. we talked about the priesthood and the importance he has as a deacon the aaronic preisthood.. we both shared personal experiences and testimonies and i think he felt needed and could see the importance he has as a preisthood holder. .we gave service with his family later on and his mom and brother and little sisters came to church. but little by little they are coming back to church which is awesome.. here is a pic of our district this-last change.. eugenio also this week told us he has a testimony of joseph smith now and the church.. he also started to cry when he talked about baptism and how his dad told him he needed to get baptized.. we watched the joseph smith movie with him and that helped him know that he was a prophet.. he just cant get baptized cause he works still on sundays.. its crappy but it was really neat to hear his testimony and he still goes to institute.. also i read in the magazine last week about Rebecca Swaine a pioneer who helped settle smithfield and died there.. it was really cool and i love hearing stories about pioneers cause it makes me see that my trials are so big-bad.. this week was the holy week for the catholics so here are a few pics of the things they did with there processions and alfombras and no i didnt offend anybody by taking pics.. haha so our investigators are good and we put a baptismal date with victor for may but he has to get married.. we have a lot of people that could get baptized but nobody down here gets married.. its retarded. or they get married then they separate and live with somebody else.. please pray for the investigators though that ive mentioned in other emails..sunday we had two investigators in church but they dont live in carcha so that doesnt really count.. but yeah thats about it.. i love yall a ton and will be talking to yall in not too long.. take care and have a good week!!

Dear Family,
Alright so the other pics are from today.. we went to try and find a queztal.. the national bird here. .we didnt find one though... then we went to a cave.. it was fun and yeah here are some pics of it.. we woke up though at 4 this morning so i am super tired.. and last night i slept on a bed without a pillow or sheets.. it was terrible but funny.. i used my church pants as a pillow and half way through the night i put my jeans on over my shorts cause it was freezing cold.. we slept in the zls house then i used my jersey as a blanket and stuck my arms in my shirt.. it was ridicuously cold.. then in the morning i figured out there was another blanket i could of used but didnt see.. anyway long story short it wasnt fun but i learned from that experience.. umm so last week we had interviews with president torres.. they went good but he asked us why we havent had baptism yet in carcha this year cause theres 4 elders and we are in april.. i really dont let that stuff bother me though cause we arent baptizing numbers and we arent just gonna through people in the water if there not ready... but he also thanked me for the work i do and said it was a blessing to have me in the mission so it was good.. then the next day we had zone conference.. it was really good and different then the other ones ive had before.. i feel like i really learned stuff and saw a lot of areas where i can improve as a missionary.. also one of the lessons we had last week was really cool.. a poor family in our ward just had a baby and we went and taught them about temples and the importance of families.. the spirit was felt and the brother thanked us for the visit.. he and his wife have two boys now and not much money at all.. the mom doesnt know spanish and the dad doesnt have an education.. its just cool to see though that money doesnt bring happiness.. its by the Gospel and our obedience we have have peace and joy if we do the will of our Heavenly Father like Jesus did.. i finished d and c last week.. that was good and it was interesting to learn more about the restauration of the gospel and about the early saints in the last dispensation.. also last week we did divisions in tanchi.. i didnt say anything during the lessons cause it is a qeqchi area.. haha it was fun though and i just said some small frases that i know like thanks good bye how are you and stuff like that.. i saw brians friend last week.. he is from san diego calif and i guess brian you talked to him and he had seen my blog or read my emails.. it was cool to talk to him and their business is in my area.. they are doing work down here and trying to help out the people.. he took a pic with me and was gonna send it to yall but maybe yall need to remind him.. umm myra and her kids and niece went to church yesterday! that was super exciting and they liked it but only stayed for the first hour.. the kids will really like it though when they can stay for primary and when myra can go to relief society.. we are working hard though and even though we havent seen baptisms we have investigators who are geting more and more interested and they are finally coming to church.. also myras neighbor is a member and always invites her to everything and she has another good friend whose a member who came with them to church yesterday.. that support is nice and will help us and her out.. anyway thanks always though for the blessings and we are trying to get all of our investigators a testimony of the book of mormon and theyve all already felt the spirit with us and like our visits.. its not that hard but they just have to put there time in to get an answer.. please pray for them though.. also we are in the last week of this change. the time is going by fast! next monday ill know about changes and tell yall.. also have a happy easter and always remember the true meaning of easter.. this week down here will be interesting with all the catholics and its the holy week where they carry around Jesus and crosses and other crazy stuff.. we are gonna do an activity this week though and maybe sing and hand out pamphlets cause a lot of people will be out of there houses and traveling.. well thanks for everything and im praying for yall too.. hope everyone is well and send me pics of what yall do for easter and get ready to talk to me in about 3 weeks i think..

hey family..
Well i dont have much time today cause i got a ton of emails but i will go through what i was up to last week... so somebody gave us a drink the other day with black things floating in it and bread crumbs.. i thought i was gonna have arrigamortis for sure but i didnt.. we finally got in with Sergios mom.. she is nice and is supportive of us teaching her son but we need to work more with her cause if she does come to church sergio wont be able to get baptized.. but he is still praying to be able to and this week he added to be able to recieve the holy ghost too.. so that was cool.. we tried last week to teach our investigators and less actives about the sabbath day to try and motivate them and get them to church but it didnt work too well.. but little by little we are trying to figure out what we can do to get them to church..
also we taught a bunch of kids last week about Jesus and His birth... some of their older siblings are members but less actives.. but we had a little lesson with them outside and it was funny try to get them to focus.. it was fun though and their is a pic of me and them.. eugenio is still going to institute and liking it a lot.. he made some comments about doubts he has in other churches.. he is liking ours though and hasnt had doubts yet and everything is making sense.. at the end of the lesson the teacher bore her testimony and so did her brother and we all left with tears in our eyes.. the spirit was super strong and he said during the holy week he is gonna be able to attend church with us.. we built more of that little house and put on the roof.. now we just need to walls.. ive read alot last week about Christ and how is was completely to everything that Heavenly Father wanted him to do.. that has been on my mind a lot and how we need to be obedient if we really love Christ and want to follow Him.. ummm also i am almost done with d and c.. i read about Joseph Smith and his trials.. he went through so much to bring the restauration to pass.. i am so grateful for him and others who played important roles in bringing the restauration about.. happy bday cooper!! umm so yesterday a lady who lives in the same house as victor and virginia went to church and her little daughter and two primary aged sons.. they liked it and the two sons are really smart.. we are working hard though with them and everybody though and trying to get everyone a testimony of Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon.. we are doing good though and still finding a lot of news and we always have somebody to visit now.. little by little we are getting more people who are interested and are feeling the spirit when we are with them so i know that they will have more progress coming up here soon.. thanks though for all the prayers and support yall do though on my behalf.. i love yall a ton and appreciate everything yall do for me.. keep strong in the faith and remember with God on our side all things are possible.. anyway yall have a great week and we will be talking again in about 1 month!! the time is going by fast! also i bought a cool mj jersey for 2.5 dollars in a paca.. its a tight jersey and today we played dodgeball again and it was fun but my arm hurts from throwing so much.. adios!
love yall,

also we taught a bunch of kids last week about Jesus and His birth... some of their older siblings are members but less actives.. but we had a little lesson with them outside and it was funny try to get them to focus.. it was fun though and their is a pic of me and them.. eugenio is still going to institute and liking it a lot.. he made some comments about doubts he has in other churches.. he is liking ours though and hasnt had doubts yet and everything is making sense.. at the end of the lesson the teacher bore her testimony and so did her brother and we all left with tears in our eyes.. the spirit was super strong and he said during the holy week he is gonna be able to attend church with us.. we built more of that little house and put on the roof.. now we just need to walls.. ive read alot last week about Christ and how is was completely to everything that Heavenly Father wanted him to do.. that has been on my mind a lot and how we need to be obedient if we really love Christ and want to follow Him.. ummm also i am almost done with d and c.. i read about Joseph Smith and his trials.. he went through so much to bring the restauration to pass.. i am so grateful for him and others who played important roles in bringing the restauration about.. happy bday cooper!! umm so yesterday a lady who lives in the same house as victor and virginia went to church and her little daughter and two primary aged sons.. they liked it and the two sons are really smart.. we are working hard though with them and everybody though and trying to get everyone a testimony of Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon.. we are doing good though and still finding a lot of news and we always have somebody to visit now.. little by little we are getting more people who are interested and are feeling the spirit when we are with them so i know that they will have more progress coming up here soon.. thanks though for all the prayers and support yall do though on my behalf.. i love yall a ton and appreciate everything yall do for me.. keep strong in the faith and remember with God on our side all things are possible.. anyway yall have a great week and we will be talking again in about 1 month!! the time is going by fast! also i bought a cool mj jersey for 2.5 dollars in a paca.. its a tight jersey and today we played dodgeball again and it was fun but my arm hurts from throwing so much.. adios!

Hey Family,
I hope yall enjoyed the conference last weekend.. it was amazing and i am really glad that i am able to see all 5 sessions here in the mission.. i love how i can always feel the spirit during whatever talk and that makes me know that really they are called of God to lead us especially the qurom of the 12 apostles and the first presidency.. anyway i am gonna start and go down my list like always.. and the pics are of me and corte or the typical dress here in coban and carcha.. they are cool but the material is expensive.. then i gave the town bum some pizza last week and a took a pic doing it.. he hasnt changed clothes since ive been here but everybody knows him and he always has food somehow.. one of the pics i sent last week was to show yall that i have a mission tag in qeqchi now.. its pretty cool even though i really dont even know how to say the name of the church in qeqchi.. recently here it has been super hot.. i cut my hair short again today cause its suppose to be hot all this month.. i think i am gonna die back in texas cause its not even that hot down here but i am just used to mild weater after being here and the capital for so long.. we found a single mom and her thee kids about two weeks ago and have been teaching them a lot.. they are cool and the the kids are super smart and like our visits a lot.. they want us to pass by everyday.. its a sad situation because the dad left them but we are working hard with them and they have felt the spirit when we are there.. there neighbor is also a member and so she is inviting them to activites and hopefully they will come this week to church or the ward activity we have on weds.. there names are myra estpuardo and amy and then i dont remember the little girls name.. then last week to a dog tried to attack us.. he bite my comps bag and tried to bite his foot.. then he came after me and i jumped ontop of a wall.. it was pretty funny but the dogs down here are so mean and all they want to do is attack us! and all they do is roam around outside cause most of them dont have owners! sometimes i feel worse for the dogs then the people cause the people can help themselves but the poor dogs dont know any better and the people dont give them food or flea medicine its nasty to say the least.. also victor and virginia are doing good.. we had a lesson with them last week and tried to put a baptismal date with them but they said they needed to talk about it.. they are still doing really good though except they told us that they arent married.. so thats a little setback but marry people is not too hard to do.. they were gonna go to conference but she got sick.. we are going to put the baptismal date though this week hopefully they just need to go to church though, so it wont be until next month sometime.. pray for them though please.. they even asked us though what they could do to enter in the temple and what were the requirements.. we explained a little bit about the commandments but they just need to go to church! and its so hard getting people to church down here! anyway so we didnt have any investigators in church again.. its frustrating cause we are working hard but not getting pèople to church.. we are gonna focus this week on the sabbath day though and see if we can get some to church next sunday... also antonio read 3 nephi 11 with us the other night and liked it and asked us about baptism.. he is the 15 hyear old whose family are members.. he is cool and we are gonna invite him to baptism too this week hopefully cause he has been to church and has supports.. just needs to work on his testimony.. but he is doing well and in his prayer he asked to know more about Gods words and it was really neat..also we ate a soup last week that a sister made for us and it was soooo hot.. all of our mouths were burning and my lips.. i am proud to say though that i didnt sweat or cry like some of the other elders.. it was hot though and we had a good laugh eating our burning hot soup.. thanks mom and dad for the money.. just to warn yall though i looked on my card and it says its valid through the sixth month of this year.. so i dont know what we need to do with that.. i bought root beer from an import store it was good cause down here they dont have root beer.. a lot of our investigators though have been asking us about baptism though and thats really neat.. a lot of them still have a long way to go but they have a desire to change and follow Jesus Christ though baptism.. we have a lot of work to do and they do to cause they can say those words but if they dont use their agency to act and change it will never happen.. anyway but thanks always for the prayers on there behalf and mine.. they mean and help a lot! alright just some comments on conference.. they talked a lot about service.. teaching children from a young age about the gospel and its principles.. about our trials in this life and how they always are for our benefit and that they make us stronger.. its like the bush that said thanks for cutting me down so that i could grow up and into the bush that you (God) wanted me to be.. i liked that talk i just dont remember who gave it.. i liked how us as priesthood holders need to step up to the plate and magnify our callings and use our preisthood to serve others.. Elder Scotts talk to was good about love that a couple should have and about all the stuff he did for his wife.. anyway C. Scott Grow is the coolest 70 member for his name and i like the final comment of Elder Holland and President Monson.. all of us have talks that reach our hearts and we feel like they are especially for us.. and how the prophet said to keep our eyes and minds focused on the temple.. covenants weve made or will make.. the temple is where heaven and earth meet! anyway i hope yall enjoyed it too..
know we just have to put into practice what we learned.. anyway i hope yall like the pics.. we rode back from conference ontop of a min van.. haha dont worry mom we made it back safe and it was fun.. anyway i love yall and take care.. and woohoo the lady aggies could win the championship!! love yall and take care and thanks always for yalls support!

Dear Family,
Well last monday we played dodgeball as a zone and it was super fun.. after not doing anything competitive for so long it was good to peg some people with some balls.. they were light plastic ones so they didnt hurt but i pegged a few people in the head pretty hard.. it was funny.. my team was good and i was the first pick out of the zone cause we are coordinated in the hatch family.. anyway it was fun and nice to play a semi sport.. then as yall see in the pic last week we choppped or split wood four different times.. it was fun and a lot better then cutting grass with mashettis.. we have been really looking for service opportunities to help us get into more houses and to win the confidence and trust of people.. its a lot of fun though and i dont think i have ever enjoyed serving people so much.. also victor and virginia are a couple that we contacted last change.. we never got into there house but a couple of weeks agoa we passed by again and got in.. they are super cool and love our visits.. the guy is a taxi driver and takes time off from his job in the afternoon when he could probably be making the most money.. he loves our visits and likes how we pray for him and sing hymns in his house.. he says they are always so happy when we visit them.. they are reading the BOM and told us to pass by with ward members and other missionaries so on sat we did with two other missionaries and a ward member.. they are super cool and nice and have a desire to change and follow Christ.. we are gonna put a baptismal date this week with them and they told us they are gonna go to general conference with us hopefully.. please pray for them! then we taught a night of fellowship in our ward and talked about repentance.. it was good and i talked about Alma the Younger and how he changed his life.. also something that i am doing is everynight in my head i go through my day..
love yall and hope yall like the pics!!

i think of the things i did well and things where i could have done better or something different.. i feel like its helping me change and become better cause only through analizing our lives and days we will be able to find places where we can improve and become more like Christ.... also Elder Allen told me a lady we taught in our last area that never really progressed stood up for us when somebody said we worshipped Joseph Smith.. it made me smile though cause although she may never accept the gospel in this life she learned something and stood up for us moromons.. it was cool and i know that a lot of people will accept this Gospel in the next life cause God is just and will have mercy on them depending on their desires.. the other day i ate brocolli.. it was good and cooked with eggs.. we also ate tortillas that were purple.. i took a pic but it didnt turn out.. also we did service on sat and an old lady give us rice water.. it was luke warm and not very good but i had to drink it.. i didnt even get arrigamortis so i was happy about that.. k i am gonna go ok so a kid that ive told yall about named sergio is still learning about the church.. he has gone three times and we are really working hard with his mom to earn her confidence so we can teach her too.. cause we dont want to baptize him cause itd be very likely that hed go inactive.. in his prayer though the other day he asked God to bless that he and his family could be baptized and become members of the church.. it was really cool and little by little we are gonna be able to get to his mom and teach her about the Gospel and all the blessing and joy she can have.. mom and dad.. i need money.. i bought shoes and now i am out again.. if yall could put 100 dollars on there thatd be great.. and do i need to get souveniers for people or am i gonna come back in the summer of 2012.. i was just wondering.. anyway we are doing good with all of the investigators and the work is progressing a lot in carcha.. we hope to have some investigators go to conference with us this weekend..
i know this work is really important and that this church is true! listen to the leaders this weekend and take notes.. they recieve instrucions for us from God and if we heed to there counsels we will be blessed and protected.. i love yall a ton and keep pressing forward. .thanks for all yalls prayers and i pray for yall too!! take care and enjoy conference this weekend!!love yall and hope yall like the pics!!

Hey family!!
I only have 18 min left but i will tell yall as much as i can fast!! so last pday we went and ate with a fam.. they gave us good fried chicken but then a whole bunch of fresh onions and tomatoes.. ughhh!!! i gagged twice but i dont think they saw me.. it was terrible.. i still cant do fresh onions.. i ended up slipping a lot into my napkin then into my sock..i dont wish to relive that moment.. also this week i realized that i am gaining more patience.. my comp thinks he is right a lot but as we were going to a house he got confused and was like its this way.. at the beginning of my mission i might have been like no.. i know its this way.. but i followed him and didnt say anything until he realized he was wrong then we walked the right way.. patience is something hard but i still have a long way to go but i think i am getting a little better.. communication between us has gotten a lot better.. and during the mission its sometimes better not to say anything cause if you dont have unity you wont have the spirit and wont have success.. we are doing a lot better though and have a fun change.. the other day though we didnt have anything to do so we went to find a less active that lives in a village.. once again people gave us directions in qeqchi that we didnt understand but in all we didnt find him and walked for 2 and a half our in the rain in the mountains.. it was super pretty though and we had fun talking to people there and gettting to know more of our area.. also on tues.. we were having a terrible day and everything fell that we had planned.. me and my comp though both did a prayer though in our heart and our prayers were answered we found 6 new investigators in 40 min.. it was really cool.. we were really trying our hardest to find people and teach them.. and after all we could do God lead us to where we needed to go and to people that accepted us.. last week we hasd 21 new investigators.. it was amazing and thats the most i have ever found in one week.. and thats just what we needed in our area cause we didnt have many investigators... and 4 families.. it was really cool and a lot of the families are going to other churches but are not really into there churches.. like have gone a couple months and really dont have testimonies or strong opionions that there churchs are true.. so we caught them in the perfect time!! we will work with them and through the spirit we will be able to have success with them i think!! Elder Allen the elder i trained is in my district again.. he is in an area where the only speak qeqchi. he is enjoying though but has a lot to learn with the language.. its exciting though to have him in the same district though.. ok i only have a little time so here are some quick things.. i have fleas i think or mosquitoes cause i have 10 bug bites on one of my hands.. its special and itches a lot.. then i gave pizza to the town bum the other day.. he hasnt bathed since i have been in carcha.. i will try and get a pic with him.. he doesnt talk but it made me feel good giving him a piece of pizza.. haha also two cities were found in the bottom of lakes here in guatemala.. lake izabal and atitlan.. they are cities i am guessing that were lost when the people of the BOM were destroyed.. and supposedly there are gold plates at the bottom of one too!! its crazy but i dont know to much info.. if yall could find some articles and send them to me thatd be tight!! umm yeah i dont have much time but here are some pics.. one is a lady from our ward who washes our clothes.. she is really cool and we helped her bring a drink to the church that we used for the Fellowship night.. she is the only member in her family but goes to the temple and always is to church! then the others are pics of us by a river we found.. it was super pretty and clean.. umm i love teaching about the gospel of Jesus Christ and The plan of salvation.. and the Restauration.. they are three amazing lessons we teach all the time.. how God has called a prophet again, how we know where we came frrom why we are here and where we are going when we die!!! and what we need to do to be saved.. i dont have much time but we are so blessed with the answers to those questions!!

the church is true and we just need to do our part.. i love yall a ton and we can really be together forever.. keep enduring to the end and we will be able to live together again and with Jesus Christ and Our Heavenly Father.. love yall and take care.. thanks for the constant support and no investigators yesterday went to church but maybe cause it was a stake conference and kind of far away from carcha but i am good and the work is going good too.. love yall and keeping praying for my investigators and im always praying for yall!!
